I love this game, but I had to stop play it for a long time. now, I want to play it again. but:

1) when I use regular xbox, I can not create new account on xbox live, since I do not have subscription code. where can I find one? so I can use credit card to pay for it?
2) when I use xbox360, I created an account on xbox.com, I'm gold member now. how can I associate the membership to create a new tag? anyone knows a step-by-step giude?

I prefer 1) since I can use wireless connection to play it anywhere.

Hey there "rays newtag" welcome. I would call xbox for proper support. We usually have set game times (typically Friday nights).

forget xbox support. they are clueless and useless. wasted more than one hour on phone with them this afternoon, the answer I got is: you have to get the subscription card. they all should be fired.

I understand not wanting to call xbox tech support. I can tell you how I did it and maybe that will work for you.
Step 1: I hooked up the original Xbox to Video 1 and the 360 to Video 2.
Step 2: I ran the ethernet cable from orig. Xbox to port 1 on my router then ran the cable from the 360 to port 2.
Step 3: I already have a 360 gold XBL account (what I gather is that you have that also). Turn on original Xbox and "recover gamertag". You are recovering your 360 gamertag, the one you currently use. Keep in mind you will need all the information you set up your 360 tag with, i.e. Credit card #, email add., etc.

This worked for me and I can't promise it will work for you. Worst case scenario is that you will need an Xbox Live disc for the original Xbox if it has never been set up on your box.

P.S. MA2 is backward compatible, hooking up the original box is if you are wanting to play MA1.

The advice he just gave was pretty good.  Let us know if require further details, I have personally helped a dozen or so players recover gamertags for their original xbox's.  So don't let anyone at xbox support discourage you.  Eventually you come across someone who know's what they're talking about.

 Yes, thats what he is trying to do. I just gave the detailed version. Also I think you are correct Zippy, it's "Account Recovery" and not "Recover Gamertag"............it's been a while

I tried to recover the tag, but it failed. it could be because the xbox360 i use.

I just found that there are some subscription cards available on ebay, so I buy-now 2 of them.

It may take one week to get them from the mail. So, I'll practice locally, and get online next week.

Are there any players during the week days? or, not many except on Friday night?

I was an ok player, and played with pornstars many years ago, now, I guess I'm a newbie, hopefully, you guys will not simply kick me out of the room.
