I started played MechAssault about 1 month after xbox live went, well.... live. I've always had the same GT: Ruiner13 I've never changed it and I never will unless I have too. The majority of my friends list came from this game and still nothing seems to capture my heart like this game did, and nothing ever will until MW3 ever comes out, I'm afraid. Every time I RRoD I always pull out my original Xbox and try to find a match, but the desolation of the lobby always sends me crying to another game. I truly miss the glory days of this game, and just like a old man looking back on his high school/college days, I'm not sure if anything will ever compare to the way this game, and it's community, had me... hook, line, and sinker.
I loved MA1, and despised MA2, never could quite get into it the same way, (yea, I'm one of those guys).
Favorite Mech was always the Catapult, in fact once I decided I liked it best, I never used another one. NEVER.
and my favorite level was always the Colosseum, call me old fashioned but nothing meant competition to me like the Colosseum.
Maybe I'll see some of you online some day, and I hope that when I do, It's from the cockpit of a giant war machine we all know and love as: BattleMechs.
