Greetings, new and old Mechassault fans alike! November 11 is coming up, and what does that mean? Yes, we are aware that Skyrim releases that same day, but nine years ago on November 11, 2002, Mechassault released for the Xbox. So, while Skyrim (or Modern Warfare 3) may be spinning in your disc tray, please take a moment to remember (and salute) Mechassault, for bringing us together, for still having a fan base nine years later, and for those who are with us to support it.

Although it may be an early remembrance, I know that not everybody will have the chance to view this right away, so I'm here to notify ahead of time.

Happy birthday Mechassault! And cheers to good, old friends.

I will drink to that!  We truly stood in the light of greatness with that game.  Thanks again to cdog.  If not for his efforts, we would not be the community that we are right now, and that would be a damn shame.

I can't believe I missed Mech1's birthday.   Well at least 2012 will be a promising year for Mech fans. We have MWO, Armored Core 5 which should be more team based, haven't heard any news on Hawken, and were making great progress with Futurised Warfare.

Bottoms up to the game that I'll never forget!

I just wish sometimes I could be back in 2002 for the first year I had with this game, ohh dear Lord the time spent and the fun had!
