HOW TO ADD A LINK TO YOUR FACEBOOK PROFILE TO YOUR MACOMMUNITY PROFILE

1. Click on 'Edit Profile'
   
   
   
2. Select the 'Profile Information' tab
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to the bottom and enter your Facebook Profile ID# in the last box

OBTAINING YOUR FACEBOOK USER ID #

A year ago Facebook allowed users to create personalized url's for your profile page.  As you can see, this feature uses the older facebook system of random generated user id#'s.  In order to find your user id#:

1. Log on to your facebook main profile page and mouse over your own profile pic:
   
   
   
2. Then at the bottom of your screen you should see the following:
   
   

The number listed at the end is your user ID number.

If your only hesitation in adding fellow community members to your facebook friend's list is an uneasiness in revealing your personal information, then take these additional steps in setting up your facebook profile:

SET UP A 'MAcommunity' FRIENDS LIST ON FACEBOOK

1. To do this first select under the friends tab the 'All Friends' option.
   
   
   
2. Next, click on the 'Create New List' button
   
   
   
3. Type in 'MAcommunity' and click on the Create List button:

EDIT YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS TO RESTRICT THE NEWLY CREATED LIST'S ACCESS

1. Open up your Privacy Settings
   
   
   
2. Then on each item you wish to restrict access too, such as phone number, address, date of birth, etc., select the 'custom' option.
   
   
   
3. Lastly, Under the 'Hide this from' Box start typing in 'MAcommunity' and select the box that appears.
   
   

Now, anyone that is added to this list will be restricted from viewing this info.

ADDING NEW FRIENDS TO THE 'MAcommunity' FACEBOOK LIST

1. When sending a friend request to a MAcommunity member, be sure to add them to your newly created list:
   
   
   
2. You should see '1 Selected List' now showing. Next, select 'Add a personal message'
   
   
   
3. Type in MAcommunity. Your username or gamertag, and any other info you wish to add and hit 'Send Request':

ACCEPTING A FRIEND REQUEST FROM AN MACOMMUNITY MEMBER

1. When accepting a friend request be sure to hit the 'add to list' button.
   
   
   
2. Confirm that it says 1 List Selected and hit confirm.
